What an incredible weekend! Our Third Annual Meetup drew exactly 50 Survivors, the largest group we’ve ever had! Between the 50, we had a collective paralysis experience totaling nearly 900 years. And that’s not even adding in the experience and wealth of knowledge brought by the dozens of supporters on hand as well!!
Day One featured multiple breakout meetings where people were able to share openly and honestly with others in similar situations. We had a great mix of newcomers and regulars to build even more connections!
Day Two was a little more laid back and focused on recreation of all sorts. Outdoors for All brought a whole slew of adaptive bikes for people to try, members of Seattle Adaptive Sports showed off their sports chairs, plus we had a bunch of adaptive games and power chair users got a peek at an adaptive bowler from IKAN Bowling.
All in all, it was a tremendous event!
